The Cycling Development Foundation, & Veris Racing, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Tennant as Chair.

Mary was recently appointed and is excited by the prospect of furthering the values and vision of Veris Racing

“I am honoured to be taking up the role of Chair for the Cycling Development Foundation. I have big shoes to fill in taking over from Raechel Paris who steered the CDF for the past two years and was central to our guidance on strategic planning. The CDF contributes to the growth in participation of cycling in female, junior and male athletes across Australia and New Zealand by promoting pathways for cyclists to achieve success in national and international events. Our involvement in the community of Laverton is noteworthy for its encouragement of cycling for residents of that community and for the opportunity it affords our athletes to pass on their skills. In the short time I have been involved with the CDF it has been heartening to see how it contributes to the growth of athletes in an encouraging community atmosphere. My aspiration in the position of Chair is to contribute towards evolving strategies that will allow the CDF to develop and achieve sustainability.
