The Cycling Development Foundation is excited to welcome Andrew Fairweather to the Board.

“I’m delighted to be joining the board of the Cycling Development Foundation at such an exciting time for Australian cycling.  Our vision is to identify young and up and coming talent, providing them with structured coaching and high-performance resources to ensure that they can achieve their full potential. Currently we have over 15 athletes aged 15yrs and older about to commence competition in Europe for the CDF Racing team and Junior Cycling Academy, some are also representing the Australian National Team, and we aim to increase that number over time.  With greater corporate sponsorship, we believe that we can provide a pathway that takes these incredible young athletes from local junior racing to the national road racing series, and onwards to Europe and the Grand Tours!”

Our Chairperson Mary Tennant welcomed Andrew aboard:
‘We are pleased to welcome Andrew Fairweather onto the CDF board. Andrew comes with valuable experience and is a keen cyclist. His skills and knowledge will be of benefit and we look to his contribution.’

We are looking forward to working with you Andrew.
