WOMENS RACING TEAM
The CDF Women’s Racing Team provides a pathway for female cyclists to develop and compete at a high level while creating opportunities that have historically been limited within the sport. The team brings together experienced senior riders and emerging talent, with senior athletes providing leadership, mentorship, and support to younger riders as they progress through the pathway.
Competing locally, in the ProVelo Super League, and internationally, the team focuses on long-term athlete development while also supporting a development squad designed to prepare riders for progression into the registered team. Beyond racing, team members actively promote cycling participation and help inspire more women and girls to take up the sport.

ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
Fundraising for the Foundation’s athlete development and racing programs will enable it to assist selected highly competitive cyclists to participate in local, national, and international cycle racing events sanctioned by relevant governing bodies.
Funds are used to pay for
- Coaching services
- Cycling equipment
- Training sessions
- Travel costs and support staff.
Fundraising is via a mix of general-purpose and specific “call to arms” campaigns for purchasing equipment (bikes and wheels).
