Call for Expressions of Interest – Grafton to Inverell 2024 – Men’s Team

The Cycling Development Foundation is calling for Expressions of Interest for athletes to join the
Men’s NRS Team at the 2024 Squadron Energy Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic.

Dates: 24-28 April 2023 (road race 27 April)

We are looking for athletes who are capable of racing National Road Series level in a team
environment. Guest riders will have the opportunity to gain experience riding at NRS level and
learn about what is required, work with an established team, and learn from the experience
of others.

We are open for applications from U23 or Elite level riders. U19 riders are not eligible for
this event. Riders must have a current AusCycling license, Sport Integrity Annual Doping
Fundamentals (formerly Level 1) and Annual Update 2023 (formerly Level 2).

Athletes are required to join the team a few days before the event and stay in the team’s
accommodation. They will also be required to contribute to logistical costs (transport,
staffing, etc.). Estimated costs are $100/day plus flights.

As well as the opportunity to race with an NRS team, The Cycling Development Foundation will
provide logistical support and assistance with race entry fees.
