The Laverton Cycling Project is back for 2025!

Program coordinator, Sabine Bird, headed to Laverton in February for her monthly visit!

“School is back on, and we are delighted to bring a little bit of science education into our program, all alongside some bike riding. This time it was all about earth science and we mainly spoke about the water cycle, the different states of water, and a little bit about the seasons – all easily relatable to bike riding also.

With the community going through the typical ups and downs of remote living, we were only able to service some of the little kids this time around, but are looking forward to the next trip already – constantly building, improving, collaborating, and broadening views.”
