Mackenzie Coupland Signs with Liv AlUla Jayco World Tour Team for 2026 & ’27

The Cycling Development Foundation (CDF) is proud to congratulate former rider Mackenzie Coupland on signing with the Liv AlUla Jayco World Tour Team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. This marks another major step in Mackenzie’s incredible journey from our Junior Cycling Academy through to the pinnacle of women’s professional cycling.

Mackenzie has been part of the CDF pathway for several years, progressing through our Junior Cycling Academy and National Road Series programs. From her earliest races in CDF colours, it was clear she possessed not only natural talent but also the dedication, resilience, and professionalism needed to succeed at the highest level.

Reflecting on her signing, Mackenzie said:

“Transitioning to the World Tour team means so much to me and my journey as a cyclist. My time with CDF really shaped my career, giving me key insights into race strategy and helping me develop essential skills. It opened doors and gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges many riders face – both on and off the bike.

Working with CDF’s high-performance provider – Exercise Institute – gave me the belief that I was capable. The culture was supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork and enjoyment. That environment played a big part in helping me progress further in my career.

It’s a great feeling knowing the CDF and EI family is still behind me as my career progresses!”

CDF Sports Director Brad Hall said:

“We’re incredibly proud of Mackenzie and the way she’s approached every challenge throughout her career so far. She’s a rider who leads with courage, whether that’s bouncing back from injury or applying herself against the best in the world. Her progression to the WorldTour is a credit to her work ethic, her family’s endless support, and the belief she’s built in herself over the years. This is a huge moment for Mackenzie, and we’re excited to see her continue to grow as an athlete and person on the biggest stage.”

The CDF also extends its thanks to the many sponsors and partners who have played a vital role in supporting both our Junior Cycling Academy and Racing Program over the years. Their investment in grassroots and development-level cycling has helped create the opportunities that launched Mackenzie’s career, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to developing the next generation of Australian cyclists.

As Mackenzie prepares to take on the challenge of the WorldTour, we look forward to watching her represent herself, her family, and the CDF community with the same grit and determination that has defined her journey so far.

Congratulations Mackenzie – we couldn’t be prouder.
