New CDF Board Member

The Cycling Development Foundation would like to welcome Julie De Jong to the board of the Foundation.

Julie has many years’ experience in the State public sectors, and has been involved in a diverse range of activities ranging from high level transformational change, project management and leadership of innovative solution development. Julie was with the former Department of Mines and Petroleum and prior to that the former Department of Commerce.

As a new Board member I was interested and attracted to the CDF values of respect and fairness that I can in good conscience seek funding and assist in fundraising events. And, furthermore to actively participate and support the community engagement and to profile the growth in strong cycling here in West Australia especially out in the regional areas. However these programs do require funding and resources and I am keen to build a network around CDF for it to grow and strengthen into the future.

When Julie isn’t in the office she enjoys time out cycling and had many years as a triathlete before moving onto cycling specific.
