Great Boulder Resources Announces Three-Year Partnership with Cycling Development Foundation

The Cycling Development Foundation (CDF) is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Great Boulder Resources, strengthening a relationship built on shared values of development, resilience and creating opportunities for young people.

The new agreement will support CDF’s broader activities, including its community cycling initiatives and athlete development programs, as the foundation continues to create opportunities for young people through sport.

THREE-YEAR PARTNERSHIP

A Partnership Built on Shared Values

Great Boulder Resources has been involved with the Laverton Cycling Project (LCP) for several years, seeing firsthand the positive impact that committed people and sustained community involvement can have.

Through this relationship, Great Boulder has also become familiar with CDF’s wider athlete development programs, including CDF Racing and the development approach led by Brad Hall.

For Andrew Paterson, Managing Director of Great Boulder Resources, the decision to enter a three-year partnership reflects the shared philosophy behind the two organisations.

“Great Boulder has been involved with the Laverton Cycling Project for several years. That’s a fantastic example of a number of small contributions driven by the dedicated team at CDF add up to a big difference in the community.”

Developing People, Building Futures

Across its programs, CDF aims to create environments where young people can develop not only as cyclists, but also as individuals.

From the community-focused work of the Laverton Cycling Project to the structured development opportunities offered through CDF Racing, the foundation places importance on discipline, resilience, adaptability and long-term growth.

These principles are central to why Great Boulder has chosen to support the foundation.

“The program is taking talented young people and teaching them that discipline, resilience, adaptability and the pursuit of excellence will help them achieve their long-term goals.”

“At Great Boulder we have a young and talented team of people from around the world who buy into that same philosophy. They all work hard and they’re getting results which, collectively, are carrying the company forward.”

The connection between the two organisations extends beyond cycling and resources. Both recognise the importance of investing in people, providing opportunities to develop and creating an environment where consistent effort can lead to meaningful progress.

Looking Ahead

The three-year partnership represents an important commitment to CDF and the continued development of its programs.

Andrew also acknowledged the leadership behind CDF’s athlete development work and expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

“I’m personally inspired by Brad’s leadership, and we’re all excited to help support his program and see team prosper.”

CDF sincerely thanks Andrew and the team at Great Boulder Resources for their confidence in the foundation and their commitment to supporting its future.
