Horizon Power to partner with the Laverton Cycling Project for the next 3 years

Horizon Power has supported the Laverton Cycling Project for numerous years, and it is with great joy we announce their commitment will now be reinforced with a further three-year commitment to our project.

“We have enjoyed a great relationship with Cycling Development Foundation over the years and look forward to continuing this for the next three. It’s great that participants across Laverton, Mulga Queen and Cosmo Newbery have a safe, healthy, friendly, and enjoyable environment to learn cycling skills.”

Tiffany Millward, Customer and Community Manager, Horizon Power

Horizon Power operates across the vast regional and remote areas of Western Australia, delivering electricity to towns and communities. By supporting our very remote endeavours within the Shire of Laverton, Horizon Power helps create healthier and stronger communities in our backyards.

Cycling Development Foundation Chair, Julie de Jong, welcomes the commitment from Horizon Power. This much-needed support is encouraging as the CDF continues to roll out the regional program for safer, healthier, and more active remote communities with this funding into cycling.

This program is a grassroots approach and having a respected partnership with Horizon Power enables even greater opportunities.

We are incredibly grateful for Horizon Power’s trust in our initiative.
